Getting started

What an eSIM is and how VeloraSim works.

An eSIM is a digital SIM built into your phone. Instead of inserting a plastic card, you download a mobile data plan straight to your device. Your regular SIM stays in place, so you can keep receiving calls and texts on your usual number.

Most phones released since 2019 support eSIM, including iPhone XR/XS and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer and Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer. Your phone must also be carrier-unlocked. Use our Compatibility checker or dial *#06#: if you see an EID number, your device supports eSIM.

VeloraSim plans are data-only. You won't get a local phone number, but you can call and message over apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime, Telegram or Signal while your regular SIM keeps your own number active.

Installation & activation

Scan, install and get online.

Install it before you travel, ideally the day before, while you're connected to reliable Wi-Fi. Installing and activating are separate: you can install early and the plan connects once you reach your destination and turn the eSIM line on.

Right after checkout you'll see your activation details: the SM-DP+ address and activation code. We also email them to you. On iPhone go to Settings → Mobile Service → Add eSIM. On Android go to Settings → Connections (or Network & internet) → SIM manager → Add eSIM. Then choose to enter the details manually and paste them in.

Usually not. Most eSIM profiles can be installed only once, so don't delete the eSIM from your phone unless you no longer need it. If you removed it by mistake, contact support with your order number.

Validity normally starts when the eSIM first connects to a supported network at your destination, not when you buy it. Exact rules can vary by destination and are shown with the plan.

Connectivity & troubleshooting

Fix no-signal and data issues fast.

Check three things: the VeloraSim line is switched on, it's selected as your mobile data line, and Data Roaming is enabled for that line. Then toggle Airplane mode on and off. If you still aren't connected, select a network manually in the carrier settings.

Yes. Turn on Data Roaming for the VeloraSim line only. To avoid charges from your home carrier, turn data roaming off for your regular SIM, or set VeloraSim as your only mobile data line.

Plans connect through partner networks at each destination, with 4G/LTE and 5G where available. Network details are shown on each plan's details page.

Payments & refunds

Pricing, currencies, receipts and refunds.

We accept major debit and credit cards such as Visa and Mastercard. Signed-in customers can also pay with account credits when that option is available. All payments are processed over encrypted connections.

You can choose a display currency in the header. Prices are shown with that symbol, and the checkout summary always shows the exact amount and currency before you confirm.

If you activated your plan but can't use it because of an error on our side, or because we retired the service, we'll provide a replacement or a full refund. Request it within 30 days of the issue. If you've already used part of the data, we refund the unused portion. See our Terms of use for the full refund policy.

Account & orders

Manage orders, eSIMs and your profile.

Sign in and open your dashboard. Orders lists every purchase with downloadable receipts and invoices, and My eSIMs shows your installation details.

Yes. Add plans to your cart from any destination and check out once. Each eSIM is delivered as a separate order with its own activation details.
